Biodiversity and parasitism of Loranthaceae on citrus cultivated in the Mongo department

Citrus farming is currently a main sector in Africa general, particularly the sub-Saharan region. Cameroon has been expanding since cocoa crisis and thanks to its financial economic benefits. The research aim was evaluate parasitism of Loranthaceae on citrus trees Mongo department. Five identified six species. Tapinanthus predominated with three species, T. bangwensis preussii sp. Phragmanthera capitata most frequent (75.37%), scattered (2.33%). highest mean parasitic obtained higher (5.76±5.17 tufts/tree), followed by Helixanthera mannii (5.42±4.13 tufts/tree). rate C. maxima (89.77%), natural medica (12.5%). have already greatly expanded Citrus, it recommended set up monitoring system protect yields.
